Our Mini MOVIE!!!
The following is a "mini movie" of our Project-Based Learning Class. It is a video recap, giving the general idea of what kinds of things we did during winter quarter.
In addition to learning about applications like PowerPoint, Excel and Word, the students collaborated on a few activities using "Cloud Computing." They learned a little about the potential of the Internet, which they used to practice typing, store documents and visit the class blog, located at:

BRAND NEW TYPING WEB DATA SHEET!!!
Hello Everybody!
The projector in our classroom did not work again today, but we still were able to work on our charts using individual PowerPoint Presentations! Using a "split-screen" was new for many of you, but you did very well!
"Cloud Computing" still has a few problems! (Remember Murphy's Law!)
I have made a new spreadsheet and everyone has their own sheet! I think that this will eliminate many of the problems we had today trying Cloud Computing!
Please use a split screen again, just like today.
Put the link below in the larger screen:
Here's the Link to the NEW Typing Web Data Sheet!
And the following link (the PowerPoint instructions) in the smaller screen. Good luck!

03072013 PBL Visit to Ophthalmic Assistant Program
Today most of the class went to visit the Ophthalmic Assistant Program. The students in that program tested our eyes and answered our questions about eye health, care and the Ophthalmic Assistant Program. I enjoyed myself and learned a lot about eye tests and my own vision!

Today three of the PBL students visited the Automotive Program where Jack Devine showed us around and answered all of our questions. We had a great visit and Jack told us that we were welcome to come back (even to sit in on a class to see if we thought we could do well in the class) anytime!
